In this episode of Table Talks, I sit down with Chaplain Bob — a federal prison chaplain whose journey is anything but ordinary. Bob didn’t grow up in church. He dropped out of high school, wasn’t looking for faith, and had no plans to work in ministry. But everything changed after a single invitation to church in 2009. From that moment, Bob’s story took a turn toward redemption. He began volunteering at church, enrolled in college, and joined the very first class of CPSL (Citizen Church’s leadership school). His journey led him through ministry training, seminary, hospital chaplaincy, and ultimately into the heart of federal prison ministry — bringing hope and healing behind bars.
